As a doctor-driven company we maintain respect for our Associate IndeVets’ time away from the hospital. Your primary point of contact for an Associate IndeVet outside of the hospital is their Director of Clinical Excellence (DCE). Each Associate IndeVet has an DCE who serves as the liaison for communication between Partner Hospitals and Associate IndeVets. DCEs oversee Associate IndeVets as well as practice high quality medicine in our Partner Hospitals. They are masterful at monitoring and managing relationships, including feedback to and from Partner Hospitals to ensure everyone’s expectations are met. DCEs are overseen by a Regional Medical Director (RMD) or the Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO). RMDs also continue to practice in Partner Hospitals and may manage Associate IndeVets or provide coverage for an DCE’s time away.
